Autumn Drugstore Haul Essentials

Don’t you hate it when you run out of the things you use regularly all at once? This happened to me the other day, so off I popped to Superdrug to pick up some of my daily essentials. Here’s what I bought! Click the item title to shop for it yourself.

1. Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula
I use this to moisturise every day, it smells amazing, leaves my skin soft and helps marks fade. This product has been around for a long time so I feel like it’s often overlooked. It’s one of the best moisturisers I’ve used and over time it really does help marks fade away. They have a lot of different lotions but this is the only one I’ve tried. I plan to buy more from the range and hopefully they’re as good as this. It’s on offer right now!

2. Garnier Pure Active Micellar Water
I know there has been a lot of hype about the original version of this micellar cleansing water, and with good reason. I use the Pure Active formula to get my makeup off because it’s perfect for my combination skin that’s prone to being sensitive.  I’ll maybe do a review of this in the future because I LOVE it. It’s also on offer right now, bargain.

3. MUA Undress Your Skin Highlighter
Okay so this may have slipped into my basket. I’ve never tried it before but MUA is such good value and I loved how pigmented it was. I’m dying to get my hands on the Anastasia Beverly Hills Highlighters but for now I wanted to find a cheap drug store alternative. I’ll see how I get on with this.

4. Honey by Marc Jacobs
For some reason when I search the site this just won’t come up, so I’ve linked to where you can find it on Amazon. I am in LOVE with most things Marc Jacobs. And I’ve been wearing Daisy for a while now but fancied a change. So i picked up Honey.

5. Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer
This is my go-to drugstore concealer. It does a fantastic job at hiding my lack of sleep.

6. Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara
Another drug store makeup staple of mine. I am very fussy when it comes to mascaras, I’ve been trying to find the perfect one for a while now. It doesn’t clump my lashes and the brush is the perfect shape for separating and defining them.  This is the best I’ve found yet.

7. Nivea Express Hydration Primer
Because I’m prone to really dry skin (sometimes when I’m really stressed I will even get eczema on my face). I need a super moisturising primer as a base or my makeup can become flaky. Nivea Products are wonderfully soothing on my skin and this primer keeps my skin hydrated under my makeup all day.

8. Carmex Lip Balm - Jasmine Green Tea
I love carmex for when my lips just need extra protection against the weather. This stuff goes everywhere with me. It keeps them soft and moisturised even on long walks with my puppy.

9. Real Techniques Foundation Brush
My foundation brush was starting to look kind of old and tatty. So I picked up a new one by one of my favourite brush brands. They hairs never fall out and they last really well if you look after them. My old one I’m replacing is 2 years old!

10. Superdrug Round Cotton Wool Pads
I use these to remove my makeup at the end of the day, I wouldn’t be without them. Gone are my days of scrubbing my poor skin furiously with a makeup wipe. You get 100 in a packet and with the micellar water it only takes a few of these to completely clean my face. They’re on offer right now (2 for £2.50).

What Daily essentials do you rely on? What drug store products can’t you live without?
